Portia Marie York

Portia Marie York is a skilled and dedicated fiber artist specializing in the crochet technique.

Yarn, soft, textured, and natural materials, present flexibility, flow, positive energy, freedom, and peace during the creative process. The crochet process is therapeutic. 
 
Portia has taught many crochet sessions to young people in Charlotte, NC, Haiti, Guatemala, and the Bahamas in an effort to express that crocheting draws on both the concrete and creative sides of the brain.
